DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition omite algunos diálogos; descubre por qué

Cuando el sitio Eurogamer notó que algunos diálogos en DmC: Devil May Cry Definitive Edition habían sido alterados, al punto de omitir algunas frases, algunos pensamos en primera instancia que quizás se trataba de censura; y es que no es ningún secreto que DmC utilice lenguaje fuerte y de connotación sexual.

La conversación que fue alterada es una en donde dos villanos (Mundus y Lilith) discuten a lo que a uno contesta: “El mundo, al fin de cuentas, es tu perra, como yo. No queda más que tomarla del cabello y doblegarla […]” la frase ahora termina justo después de perra.

Sin embargo, el día de hoy Taneem Antoniadres, director creativo del título, señala la cuestión declarando: “Hicimos una edición a esta escena. No fue un caso de censura ya que hay escenas mucho más sugestivas en el juego. Sentimos que esa escena en particular arrastra un poco la secuencia y, francamente, no nos gustaba esa línea.” Como se puede observar, más bien se trata de un edición por cuestión de ritmo y gusto del director creativo, el mismo señala esto en la siguiente declaración: “Para la Definitive Edition nos tomamos la oportunidad de rivisar todos los aspectos del juego y cambiamos cosas que no nos gustaban [del original]. Como parte de eso, también añadimos una escena nueva que no había aparecido en el título original” concluyó.

¿Crees qué el director creativo este diciendo la verdad o que si se trate de una cuestión de censura y él no lo quiso admitir así? La verdad solo él lo sabe, pero sería triste empezar a ver censura en los videojuegos. Recuerda que DmC: Definitive Edition está disponible desde ayer en PS4 y Xbox One.
